MOQ and lead time are not fixed numbers. Stock materials, structural complexity, branding, accessories and packaging all influence development cost and schedule.
Treat regular MOQ as a starting point
Current regular paddle projects can be discussed from around 100 pcs, while special materials, complex structures, proprietary accessories or special packaging may require a higher quantity.
Define what the sample needs to validate
A sample may be used to approve appearance, dimensions, feel, material, logo or packaging. Different validation goals change sample quantity, cost and timing.
Document the approval checkpoint
Before mass production, define the final sample, colors, dimensions, packaging, critical processes and acceptable tolerances. Written approval reduces rework caused by ambiguous verbal confirmation.
Count production lead time from a clear approval point
Material purchasing, special orders, sample revisions and packaging all affect the schedule. A regular custom project may be discussed around a 15–25 day range, but final timing depends on the confirmed order and production schedule.
MOQ, sample cost and lead time must be confirmed against actual materials, process, order quantity and current production capacity.
